FAQ's

Why isn't my microphone working?

When starting an experience make sure you allow use of your microphone when the notification pops up.

Make sure you are speaking directly into your microphone and limit background noise.

If you are using JAAQ on your laptop make sure the laptop is facing you.

How should I word my question?

Good example: How long have you had depression?

Bad example, too long: I have depression, have you had depression your whole life or did it come on later in life?

Bad example, too short: How long depression?

Why isn't the experience loading?

Check your internet strength.

Refresh the page.

Try another browser.

There isn't an answer to my question?

Try asking one of the suggested questions.

How can I get started?

To get started all you need to do is find an experience you want to interact with and click "start a conversation".

Once that's done you can click and hold the button at the bottom of the page to ask them a question.

I can't hear anything?

Make sure that your sound/volume is turned on for your browser or device.

Check your device's sound settings.

Restart your browser or device.

I can't find my condition?

We are always adding to the JAAQ experiences. If you would like to see a condition that isn't already available please contact us via the get in touch form.

Are you recording me?

No, we are not recording you. Once you close the site we automatically loose access to your microphone.
