Danny has lived with BDD for the last 20 years.

Having learnt to manage his illness he launched his own business that is rooted in supporting people’s mental health. Wanting to do more he used his contacts and knowledge to launch JAAQ. Danny is also the founder of War Paint for Men which launched in 2018 and offers a range of makeup products tailored towards men. Everything War Paint, as a brand, is trying to do is around normalizing men using products and tools to help them feel more confident, and happy.

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is an anxiety disorder related to body image. People experiencing BDD will often obsess about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others but make the person feel extremely distressed.
